The mode of study: Full time.

Duration of study for candidates intending to attend Texilan American
University: One and half years of foundation classes after which candidates proceed to spend four and half years at the medical school of the Texilan America University

Duration of study for candidates intending to attend Philippines:

Two and half years which include a 3 month internship experience a medical establishment.

• And listed in the world directory of approved Medical schools.
• By Education Council for Foreign Medical Graduate (ECFMG), hence
  graduates are permitted to sit for the United State medical licencing exams
  (USMLE)
• Medical Council of Canada – (MCC) hence are eligible to take the Medical
  Council of Canada Qualifying Exam (MCCQE)
• Association of common wealth Universities and UNESCO

Medical students in the Philippines have an option of transferring the last 2 clinical
years to United State of America (USA) and 1 out of 10 physicians practicing in
the USA is a graduate of Philippines.
Medical Universities in the Philippines are fully recognized and listed by;

• World Health Organization (WHO)
• Education Council for Foreign Medical Graduate (ECFMG)

As approved medical schools thus permitting all students to sit for foreign
examinations such as.
United State medical licensing exams (USMLE) USA

They are also accepted by;

• Nigerian Medical Council- (NMC)
• Australian Medical Council- AMC,
• Medical Council of India – MCI
• Medical Council of Canada – MCC hence are eligible to take the Medical
  Council of Canada Qualifying Exam (MCCQE)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS INTO THE FOUNDATION PROGRAM

•  O’level result with a minimum of 5 distinctions and upper credits in Physics,
  Chemistry, Biology, Math and English.
• Birth certificate
• Three passport photographs with white background
